Where earlier versions of this print were screen printed with minimal colour — built on negative space, and edited for effect — this one is drawn in pencil and pen, with the flowers painted by brush for contrast and lightness. The blooms may have finished, but they haven't disappeared; they are just dormant, waiting for the next season.
